"Nine years after her death, the screen's most immortal goddess, Greta Garbo, will finally be laid to rest. Garbo died in Manhattan in 1990. She was cremated the day after. Since then the urn containing Garbo's ashes has been kept at the funeral home because her niece and sole heir, Gray Reisfeld, could not decide on the final disposition of the great Garbo. Now Reisfeld has chosen a tiny cemetery in Stockholm. The interment of Garbo's ashes on Thursday will be televised on Swedish TV."
